This is a nice, comfortable place to have a meal. Portions were well worth the price. The menu has a large choice of wholesome meals, reasonably priced. Very nice meal. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient.

I was always suspicious of this place. I don't know why because I've always had a good meal. It's never too crowded and they have a large bar. They have daily food specials and great soup. The service is fast and friendly.

Gave this place a try tonight for the first time and was NOT impressed. Our waitress was great! BUT the food was very bland, seems like a place for senior citizens mostly. Worst chicken and dumplings I’ve ever had.

Stacy was our server today. She’s good at her job and she has such a great personality. We enjoyed her hospitality. Good food too. Will be back again soon.

I did not enjoy much about this place. The drinks were really strong, if that is what you're after, but probably too strong to actually enjoy the taste. Food and atmosphere was not for me. We did have a nice server.

It was the same as when I was there a couple weeks ago. The food is consistently good for something I didnt make, the drinks are strong, and the staff is nice.

The back room can be reserved for groups. The service was great. We had the Biscuits and Gravy and the Stuffed Hash Browns. Very tasty

Went out to brunch today for my first time and overall it was a a great start to my day! Ma&pop's type of vibe, i was seated immediately, my waitress was incredibly sweet, quick and great customer service skills. Great food is obviously a necessity at a diner, but the server is what really makes or breaks someones experience there and my waitress this morning really completed my brunch, im upset that i forgot to get her name to be able to credit her for how impressed i am but ill make sure i get it next time because i will DEFINITELY be back and recommending to my friends and family

I had the opportunity to have breakfast here with a friend. I am so glad he suggested it. Our waitress was wonderful. The breakfast was perfect. Eggs, hash browns and sausage. So simple yet perfect. Huge portions at a very reasonable price. I look forward to visiting again.

Just went here with my family. Usually the service here is superb. Today... I don't know what happened. The 2 waitresses here were talking about customers negatively, no offer of refreshments until we placed our meal orders.. the 3 adults in my group felt awkward and insignificant today. We are easy to make happy. It's difficult to not please us as consumers. Now my daughter ( who used to love it here) is vowing to never come here again. We left a tip for services rendered... but your waitresses need to learn what good customer service really is.. enjoy the last tip we'll ever give to you. If you want good food and poor service during weekdays, go ahead and go eat here..otherwise, I don't advise a wasted trip.

Not really sure how I feel about this place. Pricing fair, food is plentiful (definitely a plate for two). The place needs an update badly. Second time here. First time on Easter Sunday, definitely a popular place that day and it showed on our server. Second time, not as hectic. Same server but much friendlier now.

I love the service here. Staff are amazing and the food quality is great! Even the prices are reasonable. The only thing that I see wrong with this establishment is that it really needs to update. Still stuck in the 80's

Great food,great staff, and wonderful ambiance

Just had breakfast. The waitress failed to bring coffee and when asked, got a negative attitude. She quickly became defensive and it showed in the service. When she did bring coffee, she failed to bring a spoon forcing me to stir it with a knife. She didn't complete our order as we asked and failed to return to see if it was done correctly. I had to get refills on coffee from the young lady at the counter who takes the cash. I know customer service has been non existent for awhile now but, she took it to a new level!!

Bartender makes a great drink and is super friendly..restaurant no frills but good food

Always very pleasant staff and longtime customers is what keeps this place going. The food is good and the portion size is even better. Really good for breakfast on a Sunday!

I like the wagon wheel chandelier. And the fireplace. The dinners are somewhat expensive at $14-16 but the sandwiches are only $10-12 so I guess it makes up for it. The chicken dumplings werent salty like last years. Last year we had to take it home and I had to make my own chicken dumplings and add this cause it was like eating seawater. Thanks for fixing that recipe

Our visit to Clubhouse Grill today was super awesome!! While they were quite busy, we were greeted as we walked in and seated immediately. Our server brought us water right away, told us about the Easter specials, and took our order as soon as we were ready. Our salads were brought right out and dinner arrived just as we were finishing them. The turkey dinner was almost enough to feed two people, and very delicious! Service was EXCELLENT...attentive but not intrusive. Thank you, Bonnie! We will certainly be back.

The Clubhouse is a long time sentimental favorite. The staff is always warm and friendly, the dining are is always so clean and inviting, and the food? The food is unbelievable. American comfort food with huge, delicious portions at a very reasonable price. Even though the price is higher than say Denny's, I never leave feeling g like I've overpaid. The chicken fried steak is always a must-have. Tonight I tried their chicken fried chicken (I've been trying to reduce my red meat intake), and holy cow. I was not disappointed. So flavorful. The rich cream gravy doesn't sog up the flavorful, crispy breading! Plus the mashed potatoes are killer. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Consistantly good food and always great service.

Server was rude and not very attentive. Order the meatloaf because it was the special and it was highly over cooked. Sandwhich was decent.

I ate in the bar,the bartender was exceptional. She was friendly and welcoming. The food was great. I will definitely go back.

someone should explain to their sloppy cook that "warmed up with whipped cream" doesn't mean boiled in the microwave and covered with a melted, liquid mess. beside that, great place, great food, great service.

Total ma and pa type place! Good cafe food with very good food and portions! Taco omlete surprisingly delicious! Made room for our group of 8 in minutes. Every dish was tasty with some custom twists!

Shannon the night time bartender is amazing! I came in tonight with a large group tonight and the bar was extremely busy. She accommodated our party to sit together which was tricky. Served us fast and efficient. All of us had a great time! We will be back :)

Whenever I get to Tacoma, I like to go here to eat late. They have a big menu. Best item is the Swiss and Mushroom Burger with Tots. They saute the mushrooms and grill the bun in garlic butter. Perfect!... Love a late night breakfast too...The service is consistently great! They are always nice, fast and helpful. The only draw back is that in the bar the pints are often drawn short... Imagine always getting a pint of beer that's filled 3/4 with ale and 1/4 of head. Not sure what's up with that.
